Baruipur, West Bengal: A baby boy born with eight limbs in West Bengal’s Baruipur is being worshipped by locals, who believe the deformed boy is a reincarnation of Hindu god.
According to reports, the boy dubbed as ‘God Boy’ is an underdeveloped twin. However, thousands have flocked to the village see the baby, as they feel the child is God sent.
“When he first came out we couldn’t believe it,” a relative was quoted as saying. “The nurses said he was badly deformed, but I could see that this was a sign from God.”
“In fact, this is a miracle, it’s God’s baby,” the relative said.
The police say they are having trouble controlling the crowds. Contrarily, they said they hadnt seen anything like that in their entire career. “There is nothing godly about him at all. But the crowds are going berserk and clamouring to see the child.”
“Hundreds are crying in the streets, hundreds of others are praying and setting up camp here.”
