Rana and Akshay apparently had 25 takes for one stunt

Mumbai: For Neeraj Pandey’s upcoming thriller Baby, we hear leading men Akshay Kumar and Rana Daggubati have performed some pretty gravity-defying stunts.
And while the two action heroes dealt with all the fight and stunt sequences with ease, it was during the last schedule that they ran into some trouble.
We hear that the last shoot schedule required Rana and Akshay to film their stunt in the sand dunes near Abu Dhabi. But every time the actors tried to “take the leap” and we mean that literally something or the other would go wrong and the scene would have to be shot again. Ultimately, Rana and Akshay ended up giving 25 takes just for that one stunt scene.
“The shoot among the sand dunes was really, really difficult,” said a member of the production team. “Firstly, the temperature was almost 500 Celsius while we were there, and secondly, the sand kept blowing onto the camera. Rana ended up shooting that stunt 25 times to get it right.”
But being the professionals that they are, Akshay and Rana kept going until they had the stunt done perfectly.
