Who hasn’t had that one hangover, when the next morning, you fight every brain cell in your head to remember the previous night, and end up failing miserably? That's right! We have all had that one night out, where you have no recollection of the crazy night, until, you check your phone. And that is the moment you decide to quit drinking (which off course never happens). You ask why? Well, when you check your phone, you see 10 missed calls from your parents, 15 missed calls from your friends, and that one dreaded outgoing call, that lasted for about an hour, to your ex!
You seriously need to stop drunk dialling. And hurray! Here is an app to help you do that.
A new app, Drunk Mode, intends to keep you from doing stupid things when you go out drinking. The app requires you to feed in a timeframe you’ll be out for. The app also requires you to add in the contacts of your drinking buddies and the details of 'the-person-you-must-not-call'. During that time, Drunk Mode will hide your contact list so that you are unable to call the particular person, and it will block all social media apps on the phone.
Not just that, the app keeps prompting a message to remind you to not call certain people. Other than that, the app constantly tracks your and your friend’s location, making it convenient for you to track them down in case you pass out somewhere and lose your friends.
And if you require disabling the Drunk Mode during the defined hours of the night out, you can easily do it, but only after you solve a puzzle (No, it ain't a cakewalk when you have had a few too many drinks)!
Drunk mode also has a feature called Breadcrumbs that creats a log of the places you visited on your night out (so that you can track that credit card/wallet/friend you lost on your crazy night!).
