Pawan Kalyan’s political party Jana Sena is in coma
Absolutely no sign of activity from Pawan Kalyan’s political party
Hyderabad: When it arrived, Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena was described as a storm. A year later, however, the organisation is barely a whisper. The party was launched amidst huge fanfare last year timed perfectly ahead of the general elections and the actor had even toured extensively with speeches at several political meetings.
Jana Sena enjoyed a massive positive publicity too with fans and the aam aadmi welcoming the new outfit with open arms. It’s a surprise then, that for the past few months the organisation has been virtually comatose, with Pawan Kalyan simply, “not interested” any more.
Meanwhile, Raju Ravi Teja, the man behind the book ISM and Pawan Kalyan’s right hand, has not been seen with the actor lately. “He is now completely cut off from Pawan Kalyan,” reveals a source.
The actor had announced that he would soon release a Telugu book, detailing his experiences, but that project has shot the deadline by months. Another interesting development is PVP, or P. Varaprasad’s cutting of ties with the actor.
PVP had spent who spent nearly Rs 3crore for organising the actor’s political events in Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam. “PVP had helped Pawan Kalyan with an eye on an MP’s ticket, but he didn’t get it. After the elections he distanced himself from the actor and is busy with his film’s production,” adds the source.
The actor is now also busy with movie projects. He has just completed Gopala Gopala and is now set to start Gabbar Singh 2. “He is now concentrating on his film. If the BJP and the TD want his services, he may come into the picture once again,” adds the source. Another source claims the BJP may offer him a Rajya Sabha membership in the future.
