Actor Nandish Sandhu will soon make a wild card entry in the upcoming season of Khatron Ke Khiladi. Excerpts from the interview with him:
How did Fear Factor happen?
It just came my way. I was extremely excited when I was approached. I have seen the previous seasons and I have always loved the way the stunts are designed.
Usually wild card entrants don’t win reality shows. Your take?
This is definitely not set in stone. We have seen wild card entries win too. And if I go with this mental block I will not be able to move ahead in the show. I’ll go with an open mind. My job is to go there and give my best. And if they still don’t let me win then it’s their bad. I can’t help it. (Laughs)
Rashami is also part of the show. How do you feel competing against her?
She’s going to be like any other contestant for me. The husband-wife connect will only surface after the stunts are over. Obviously, I will be concerned if she gets hurt or if she is in some situation where she is stuck or scared. Yes, there will be some concerns, but I am not going to let those affect my performance. It is only going to be competition and professionalism in front of the cameras.
Your last show Beintehaa ended abruptly. Your take?
I was sad that it ended so soon as it was a very good show. The storyline was great and we had a fabulous team. I enjoyed working on the show, as there was logic to whatever was happening.Things weren’t dragged for too long and the good part was that the producer was the writer himself. So he was involved in the writing as well as execution.
