Multicity tour of 'pk' begins in Patna, Aamir gets a warm welcome by fans

Patna: Aamir Khan has kicked off the city promotions of his next release, 'pk'. The film which has till date maintained the mystery about Aamir's character is slated for this year's big christmas release. Aamir Khan began with Patna as his first city to interact with and connect with his fans. Aamir and his team has planned to screen '3 Idiots' in the cities they visit and later interact with them.

The reason the makers decided to start with Patna is because of Aamir's Bhojpuri dialect that he has adapted for the film. He was received by thousands of people in the city who had gathered to have a glimpse of the star.

Aamir Khan's team had already done a technical set up arranging a speaker and a mic which would allow him to interact with the crowd. Once he reached the building, he was heard talking to the crowd in Bhojpuri language that erupted a huge roar.

His last visit to Patna in 2012 also made a lot of news as the actor had made an impromptu decision to stop by at a dhaba to taste local food. He had tasted litti and Brinjal bharta before getting back to his car. After Patna, the team will fly to Varanasi.
