New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a brief intervention in the Lok Sabha Friday ahead of his meeting with all chief ministers on December 7, indicating plans are on to reshape the plan panel and install a new body.
Mr Modi said the government would involve “knowledgeable people” and “those with new ideas” to redefine and restructure the plan panel.
“I have convened a meeting of chief ministers on December 7. We will have detailed discussions with them. In the Planning Commission too, there had been discussions on how to bring it in tune with changing times,” he said.
