Los Angeles: Sitarist Anoushka Shankar, daughter of late sitar maestro Ravi Shankar, has been nominated in the Best World Music Album category for her album, Traces of You at the Annual 57th Grammy Awards.
Anoushka has been nominated for the award thrice. This is her seventh album, and features Norah Jones, on the track The Sun Won’t Set. The album brings Anoushka together with a London-based producer to interweave Indian and electronic influences.
