Apple rolls out iOS 8.1.2 update, a minor bug fix

The update is available for all Apple products running on iOS 8

Apple on December 10 rolled out the latest software update, the iOS 8.1.2. This update seems to be a minor one with basic bug fixes. iOS 8.1.2 primarily aims at fixing the problem some of the users had been facing regarding the vanishing of ring-tones purchased through iTunes. The users who lost their purchased ringtones can now restore them by going to the ‘Restore Tone’ option on their Apple device.

The update is available for all Apple products running on iOS 8, which includes all devices above iPhone 4s, iPad 2 and above, and iPod Touch 5.

The next software update, the iOS 8.2, which will most probably support the Apple Watch is also expected to be released early next year.
