Looking after their son Azad has prevented Kiran from making a comeback
Kiran Rao's ready with a script, says Aamir Khan
Mumbai: Aamir Khan’s wife, filmmaker Kiran Rao, has been away from films for a while now. She has been busy focusing her attention on son Azad. Aamir, however, has now confirmed that Kiran is ready to make her next film and is currently in the process of finalising the script to go ahead with.
“Kiran has got a few or rather, more than a few stories in mind, that she has written. She told me a few days ago that she just wants to pick one of the scripts and start working on it because she has been nibbling on the scripts that she has written, for a while now. So she’s currently in the process of putting things together for her next project.”
The actor admits that being a hands-on mom, Kiran had to delay her comeback. “She is keen to write and travel but she’s very hands on with Azad. She doesn’t like leaving him and going away, even if it’s for work,” says the actor.
