Mumbai: Meet Ajay Singh Rajput, the under-cover intelligence operative essayed by none other than Akshay Kumar in the highly anticipated ‘BABY’.
The Neeraj Pandey directed film is a political thriller, where the plot revolves around a covert black-ops team. Akshay Kumar released a small promo introducing his character in the film, and in the days to come other characters will also be introduced.
The film also stars Anupam Kher, Rana Daggubati, Danny Denzongpa and Taapsee Pannu among others. Akshay said he is very confident about the film and hopes that the audience will appreciate their effort.
Baby is Akshay Kumar’s first serious role in a long time. The trailer of the film has not a hint of humour, and we also hear the film has just one song.
Produced by Bhushan Kumar Krishan Kumar, Shital Bhatia, Cape of Good Films and Crouching Tiger, 'Baby' will hit theatres on January 23 next year.
