Jammu and Kashmir girl’s prank puts police on alert

Bengaluru: The Bengaluru police, who are already on the edge with the arrest of ISIS sympathiser Mehdi Masroor Biswas and repeated terror alerts, were sent into a tizzy with a 20-year-old Kashmiri woman playing a ‘terror’ prank. The woman, who works at a BPO, reportedly told her colleague on December 17 that “her sources” in Kashmir said the city would be targeted by terrorists soon. The scared colleague informed the company’s human resource department, which alerted the police. The cops swung into action and summoned the Kashmiri woman and her colleague, only to find out that it was a prank.
