Mumbai: We hear the Bhatts had intended to make the upcoming Khamoshiyan a part of the Raaz franchise. Khamoshiyan that stars TV’s heart-throb Gurmeet Choudhary and Ali Fazal among others, was originally supposed to be titled Raaz 4. The storytelling style of the film is similar to that of the Raaz franchise.
But on second thoughts the makers chose to go with the title Khamoshiyan and give the film an identity of its own. Mahesh Bhatt confirms saying, “Yes, it is true.
We deliberated for a long time but later we decided that Khamoshiyan should stand on its own feet. It’s a tremendous film with incredible music. We have released two songs from the film and both songs have become superhits. This goes to show the power of the album and the positive appeal that the cast and the content of the film is receiving from audiences and fans. We are extremely thrilled with the response so far.”
