BS Yeddyurappa: Congress govt has taken state to the brink of bankruptcy
Former chief minister and BJP national vice president B.S. yeddyurappa alleged that the Congress-led state government is pushing the state towards bankruptcy.
Speaking after being felicitated at a function organized by the BJP at Kotrenanjappa junior college at Holalkere town in the district on Monday, he said the state government was dead and has not released funds for schemes like Bhagyalakshmi, Sandya Suraksha and Suvarna Grama schemes implemented by the previous government.
Stating that the people of the state are cursing the government, Mr. Yeddyurappa said that even Congress legislators can’t roam freely in their constituencies with their heads held high. “I will not stay at home until the Congress government is thrown out of power.
The BJP will get 150 seats if ane election to the state assembly is held in six months”, the former CM said.
The NDA government led by Mr. Narendra Modi is giving good governance to the nation after it came to power six months ago. However, there is no money in the state exchequer to give salary to teachers.
Mr Yeddyurappa also remarked that the Congress is only alive in Assam, Himachal Pradesh and Karnataka now.
