He had no release last year and 2015 is going to more than make up for it. He has three long awaited films a period film Bombay Velvet, a children’s detective caper, Jagga Jasoos and a romantic drama, Tamasha. There is also Roy in which he has a special appearance.
Varun Dhawan
He has two films and they couldn’t be more different from each other. A revenge drama in Badlapur and a dance movie in ABCD 2. He has proved his mettle in every film and it will be quite something to see him juggle polar opposite roles.
Shahid Kapoor
He’s one of the most powerful actors in the industry and showed us just what he is capable of in Haider. It will be interesting to see him take a different turn in a rom-com like Shandaar, and join forces with the brilliant Alia Bhatt.
Ranveer Singh
He has only grown as an actor right from the start and has made it clear that he is not willing to play it safe. We are intrigued to see what he transforms into under the mastery of Zoya Akhtar in Dil Dhadakne Do. Then there is SLB’s period drama Bajirao Mastani where we’ll see him sans his lush mane, for the first time. Bold choices indeed.
Priyanka Chopra
She has one release Dil Dhadakne Do and we cannot wait to see what the Mary Kom actor has up her sleeve this time.
Deepika Padukone
Again it’s poised to be her year all the way. Piku, Tamasha, Bajirao Mastani. Each film different from the other one.
Vidya Balan
She reminds me of Sridevi and Madhuri. She has that star power and that kind of acting range. The Kahani actress is all set for Humari Adhoori Kahani in 2015. Knowing her, she’ll make the wait worth it.
