Motorola’s Moto X gets a 64GB version

Motorola adds a 64GB version to the Moto X family as a limited edition

Motorola has been in the news ever since its comeback with the Moto smartphone family. With Moto E catering to the budget segment and the Moto G to the mainstream or upper budget segment, Moto X was aimed to the high-end masses.

Moto X debuted last year with two variants—a 16GB and a 32GB model. However, Motorola has now quietly added a 64GB variant to the list and is marketing it only its website, as the Moto X Pure, which is a limited edition handset.

Fans across the world had no option, but to opt for the 32GB version. Now they feel disappointed as the 64GB version is out and they would have to invest more if they need it.

The Moto X Pure 64GB version is an off-contract unlocked handset and has no difference in hardware as compared to the Moto X second generation.

The Moto X features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset with a 2.5GHz quad-core processor, Adreno 330 graphics chipset, 2GB of RAM and three storage variants (16GB, 32GB and 64GB). Sporting a 5.2-inch AMOLED display, the Moto X offers a 13MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera. Connectivity options include 3G/4G/LTE Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and ac, Bluetooth v4.0, NFC, GPS and GLONASS. The Moto X runs on Android Lollipop v5.x operating system and us fuelled by a 2300 mAh battery. The Moto X 64GB Pure edition is priced at $599 (Approx Rs 36,000).
