Recreating Sunburn festival cost a bomb

Mumbai: Sooraj Dooba Hai, the song from the upcoming film Roy, is already being touted as one of the hottest party numbers of the season. We hear producer Bhushan Kumar spent a bomb to shoot the song. The team had to acquire permission to recreate the popular Sunburn festival sets at a studio in Mumbai.

Speaking about it, Bhushan said, “The song is a sundown number and the director (Vicky Singh) wanted a set that looks like the Sunburn festival set. Yes, we recreated the entire set in Mumbai with unbelievable similarity. Ahmed Khan has choreographed the song and alongwith the way Vicky and the director of photography (DOP) have shot it, the video looks fabulous. I am very happy with the final result, so it was all worth the effort.”
