Shashi Tharoor’s servant names Kashmiri businessman
New Delhi: Demanding a professional probe without any political pressure or consideration, former Union minister Shashi Tharoor, Sunanda Pushkar’s husband, on Friday voiced concern at the way the investigation was being done into his wife’s death.
He told reporters in Thrissur, Kerala, that he had written to Delhi police commissioner Bhim Sain Bassi Thursday asking him to share details of how the police determined his wife was murdered. He also offered Friday to face questioning by the police at an early opportunity to address questions they might have.
Mr Bassi said the police would be able to share some “definitive inputs” over the case in three-four days.
The mystery over “Sunil sahab”, referred to by Mr Tharoor’s help, was partly resolved as he was identified as Sunil Trakru, a Kashmiri businessman, who had been questioned by the police.
