Dhanush won’t quit Southern films ever
Mumbai: After Ram Charan Teja and Rana Daggubati’s poor Hindi film debut, the focus is back on Dhanush. The Southern star is being touted as the next big game changer in Bollywood.
Given his fairly successful debut in Ranjhanaa, his upcoming film Shamitabh and his growing popularity in the ad world, Dhanush has made a mark in the industry here, but he clarifies that he won’t quit working in the South. “Of late, I’ve been asked many times if I have plans to move to Mumbai for good. Honestly, I don’t see that happening,” he said. Dhanush tells us that he doesn’t discriminate between industries. “An actor is an actor irrespective of the languages and the industries,” he adds. In the past, choreographer turned filmmaker Prabhu Deva had announced that moving to the Hindi film industry was the most inevitable step. But Dhanush is confident of successfully striking a balance.
