Actors making fun of their goof-ups is the new trend in B-town and the latest to do so, is Sidharth Malhotra. The actor recently hosted an awards ceremony for the first time and made several mistakes. We now hear that the organisers have created a montage of all of Sid’s goof-ups, with his peers from the film industry ribbing him for his questionable hosting skills.
The montage — which Sid sportingly agreed to — will be included in the televised broadcast of the awards show. “Sidharth turned host for the first time, at the recent Life OK Screen Awards, but being nervous, he ended up making several mistakes while anchoring the segment. Among the many errors he made, was announcing actress Patralekha’s name as ‘Patrakar’.
While Patralekha was sweet about the mistake, Sid was very embarrassed and apologised. In order to cover up for all the blunders, the event organisers decided to add a fun, impromptu segment with actors commenting on Sidharth’s hosting, which will be aired on TV,” a source connected to the show says.
