Pawan Kalyan’s Rs 15 crore share in Gopala Gopala
Actors and producers are now walking away with a good share of profits
Hyderabad: The recently released Gopala Gopala that stars Pawan Kalyan and Venkatesh is doing well. Unlike many other producers, Suresh Babu, the producer of Gopala Gopala, has not made any official statement about the film’s success or how much business it has made.
According to a source, Pawan Kalyan and his friend Sharath Marar, who co-produced the film along with Suresh Babu, will get Rs 20 crore as their share of the film’s profits.
Interestingly, Pawan is seen for only 50 minutes in the film. On the other hand Venkatesh has got Rs 6.5 crore as his remuneration. The two big stars apparently decided to take their remuneration only after the release of the film; that too from the profits, added the source. Of the Rs 20 crore, Pawan’s share is Rs 15 crore while Sharath gets the remaining.
