Six major security breaches reported at testing ground for chemical, biological weapons in UK
Breaches are believed to have taken place as a result of either human error or faulty equipment
London: At least six major security breaches have been reported at UK's top-secret military base that is extensively used for testing chemical and biological weapons.
According to Daily Star, the incidents at Porton Down involved the use of lethal bugs such as ebola, smallpox, anthrax and chemical weapons capable of killing millions of people.
The breaches are believed to have taken place as a result of either human error or faulty equipment at the secret testing lab in Wiltshire.
The report added that a Freedom of Information request revealed that the accidents involved five biological agents and one chemical, which took place between January 2011 and April 2013.
