The AIB knockout which has been trending on the Internet since the date of its upload on January 28, and has over 8 million views on YouTube seemed to have ruffled a few feathers recently.
After Akhilesh Tiwari, president of Brahman Ekta Seva Sanstha in Mumbai, filed a written complaint alleging the use of abusive language, it is rumoured that Salman Khan is also apparently upset about the jibes taken at his sister, Arpita Khan at the ‘roast’ event.
The digs at Arpita, who formerly dated Arjun Kapoor and had urged him to lose weight and start acting, does not feature in the edited YouTube video but Salman’s fans online have been tweeting with the hashtag “AIB National Shame”.
The comedians also took shots at actresses Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt and Sonakshi Sinha and some of the Anti-AIB tweets have called them out for being okay with an event like this and yet getting offended by tweets of Kamaal R. Khan.
