"It was just humour and it shouldn't be taken so seriously": Anushka Sharma on AIB row

The AIB roast also took a dig at Anushka and Virat's relationship
Mumbai: During the launch of the 'NH 10' trailer, the on-going AIB Roast controversy was subtly brought up. Anushka Sharma who doesn’t have any qualms in expressing her thoughts commented, “Basically it depends on each individual. It was just humour and I believe it shouldn’t be taken seriously.” Someone even pointed out that there was a joke on her and Virat that was part of the 'roast'. Earlier the actress had remained tight-lipped about the whole
affair but she seemed to take the questions sportingly.
Her co-star, Neil Bhoopalam took a firm stand and said, “Our country has so much to offer, far greater and more serious issues are happening around the world.” He went on to add, “We were just asked whether certain parts in the trailer are going to beeped or blurred on YouTube, given the Censor Board restrictions. But when you start to make something...when
a writer writes something...it involves art. And I don’t know why our country has become so sensitive...we cannot use filthy words but scorpios can go flying.”
Anushka further added, “I believe this issue is just being made bigger without any reason.”
After releasing the spine-chilling first look, the makers of ‘NH 10’ released its trailer and we must admit
it didn’t disappoint us. The thriller directed by Navdeep Singh exposed us to gruesome action sequences that left us wanting for more. The film marks Anushka Sharma’s debut in film production with her production house Clean Slate Productions. The film revolves around Anushka and Neil Bhoopalam who take on a road trip but it soon turns into a fight for survival. One cannot miss Darshan Kumar who was last seen playing the loving and supportive husband in ‘Mary Kom’. The actor slips into the negative role with brilliant ease.
