The team of Hunterrr, which is a sex comedy, had plans of launching their song Hunterrr 303 sung by Bappi Lahiri in a temple of Lord Kamdev. But as they set out for a recce, they realised that there’s no such temple in the entire Mumbai city.
A source in the know says, “The team of Phantom Films was surprised to find out that there is no temple of Lord Kamdev in Mumbai. As the story of the film goes, Hunterrr is dedicated to Lord Kamdev, the Hindu God of love. There’s also a slide at the start of the film that has the emblem of Lord Kamdev. That’s the reason the team had planned the song launch in Kamdev’s temple.”
Sometime in the middle of their research there was a glimmer of hope. The team got to know that there is one such temple in Dharavi. “But when a recce was done, it was found out that the temple was actually a Khambhdev temple. So now the team is brainstorming to figure out an alternate venue for the launch,” the source adds.
