Fifty Shades of Grey won’t see the light of day in India anytime soon
Mumbai: 'Fifty Shades of Grey', which could have been the biggest Hollywood release this year in India, of course after the Oscar nominated films that are being screened in cinema halls, will take a while to see the light of the day.
As disappointing as it sounds, most of the fans waiting eagerly for the film even lost hope of the film getting released in India due to censorship issues. However, a reliable source from a leading multiplex revealed that there is a likeability of the film getting released on 27th of this month. Movie buffs who pre-booked their tickets online for the film got their money refunded just two days prior to the film's release with a message saying, 'Due to some censor issues the movie has been postponed'.
This leaves us with the much-awaited film starring Jacqueline Fernandez, Ranbir Kapoor and Arjun Rampal 'Roy' and the controversial film 'MSG: The Messenger of God' to watch on Valentine’s Day.
Meanwhile rumours are abuzz that the dates of 'Fifty Shades of Grey' may have been shifted due to the release of big budget films like 'Roy' and Varun Dhawan-starrer 'Badlapur' that are scheduled to hit the silver screens consecutively .
The film is now debated to be better than the book.
