Irrfan Khan to star in ‘The Inferno’ with Tom Hanks

Mumbai: National Award winner actor Irrfan actor has bagged a role alongside Hollywood actor Tom Hanks. The film is being directed by Ron Howard, who bagged the 'Best Director Oscar for A Beautiful Mind', and co-stars Tom Hanks. The buzz is it's 'Inferno', the third installment in the Robert Langdon series, based on Dan Brown's novel of the same name.

Tom plays Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon again in the film which rolls in Italy in April. Irrfan earlier have worked in many acclaimed international projects like ‘Slumdog Millionaire’, ‘Life of Pi’, ‘A Mighty Heart’ to name a few. The actor is gearing up for 'Piku' featuring Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone.
