Ali Fasal says he doesn't want to work with the Khans
Mumbai: Ali Fasal, who has turned heads with his performances in films like 3 Idiots and Fukrey, has a rather unconventional way of getting ahead in the film industry.
The 28-year-old star recently claimed that he is not amongst the ones who are dying to work with the Khans, after all our film industry is dominated by the handsome Khan trio. “I don’t want to work with the Khans, they are my mentors. ShahRukh bhai has brought me here; Aamir was the first one I worked with and Salman…. I am a die-hard fan of Salman Khan. May be one day I will probably go to that camp but I don’t want to work with them as at this stage I am trying to find my own ground. I think they have been great mentors to me, I have learnt so much from them,” he shared.
The actor also confessed that his hunger for knowledge comes from Aamir Khan, who has also been a great source of inspiration in Fasal’s professional life.
Ali will be seen playing a cameo in the most awaited Hollywood film Fast and Furious 7. Speaking about the film he felt grateful to be a part of the project. “Although I can’t reveal what my role is like in the film right now but I can assure you it’s very exciting. It is not an Indian part, I got pulled in at literally the last minute and I am looking forward for the film to release,” he told.
“Technologically if you see we are years behind the international way of filming a movie. I think that is what pushes us back. In India we look for jugaadu ways to pull off a decent shot. In Hollywood they have amazing technology, Matt Damon is not actually racing at that speed. It’s a suspended ring on the road that is going as fast. So for him he is actually sitting inside a car and the whole is moving,” he added.
However, he confessed he has no car racing scenes in the film.
