Microsoft Lumia 640 to hit the stores this April
Microsoft unveiled two new Lumia handsets - Lumia 640 and 640XL at the MWC 2015 in Barcelona. At present, these handsets run on Windows 8.1 operating system. However, users of Lumia 640 and 640XL devices will be able to upgrade its OS to Windows 10 by the end of the year.

The newly launched Microsoft Lumia 640 features a 5-inch (720 x 1280 pixels)HD display. On the other hand, the display of Lumia 640XL is just 0.7-inch larger than Lumia 640 .i.e.5.7-inch .
The newly arrived Lumia devices are powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, offers 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage capacity and 30GB of free OneDrive storage space. You will also be able to expand the storage capacity of Lumia 640 and 640XL up to 128GB via microSD card.

The Lumia 640 device features a 1MP front-facing camera and its 8MP rear camera has features that include Back-illuminated sensor (BSI), Autofocus, Face detection, Geo tagging, High Dynamic Range mode (HDR) and Digital zoom. And the Lumia 640XL sports a 13MP rear camera and 5MP wide-angle front-facing camera.

Microsoft Lumia 640 is fuelled with a 2500mAh battery, whereas the Lumia 640 XL device is powered by 3000mAh battery. Microsoft’s single-SIM and dual-SIM Lumia 640 and Lumia 640 XL smarpthone models will be available in 3G and LTE version as well.
The market price of the Lumia 640 device is 139 euros (estimated price: Rs 9662) for the 3G model and 159 euros (estimated price: Rs 11,054) for the LTE model. Wheras, the Lumia 640 XL handset is slightly priced higher. i.e will be around 189 euros(estimated price: Rs 13,137)for 3G and 219 euros for LTE (estimated price: Rs15,225)The company made an official announcement that the Lumia 640 will be available in April 2015.
