Motorola hosted an open Twitter chat on March 26, 2015. This in fact gave the Motorola fans an opportunity to tweet their questions directly to Rick Osterloh, President of Motorola, using the hashtag #AskRickO.
Edoardo Maggio tweeted a question asking the President of Motorola about any future plans regarding the next generation Moto X.

The reply by Rick Osterloh gives out a hint that Motorola will likely unveil a third generation Moto X (2015) by the year-end.
Besides the above mentioned tweet, no further specifications have been revealed. A report by GSMArena stated that the soon-to-be-unveiled handset will be equipped with the Snapdragon 815 SoC processor.
The company hasn’t set out any teaser regarding the upcoming Moto X handset yet. However, media reports speculate the arrival of Moto X (2015) by September 2015.
