HTC One M9+ and One E9+ finally launches in India
HTC has finally launched its two new high-end new phablets - HTC One M9+ and HTC One E9+ for the Indian market.
Besides HTC One M9, HTC has added the 20MP rear camera and 4MP front-facing UltraPixel camera to HTC One M9+ and HTC One E9+ as well. HTC One M9+ and HTC One E9+ offer 32GB of onboard storage expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.
So what makes the two handsets different from each other?
Display
The newly unveiled handsets- HTC One M9+ and HTC One E9+ have a larger display size, as compared to the HTC One M9.
HTC One M9+ handset features a 5.2-inch and One E9+ sports a 5.5-inch display.Which means, the display size of the above mentioned devices just differ by 0.2 and 0.5 inches, from the 5-incher One M9 flagship smartphone of HTC.
The display resolution of both, the HTC One M9+ and HTC One E9+, are 1440x2560 pixels and sport a pixel density of 534 ppi. A newly integrated fingerprint sensor under the home button helps keep your HTC One M9+ secure. Multi-directional sensors make it easy — just place your finger on the sensor in any direction to unlock your phone.

Processor and Operating system
HTC One E9+ handset runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system. On the other hand, the HTC One M9+ runs on an upgraded OS, i.e. Android 5.0.2 Lollipop operating system. The HTC One E9+ is powered by a 2GHz octa-core processor, and the HTC One M9+ runs on a 2.2GHz octa-core processor.
The HTC One E9+ offers just 2GB of RAM. Whereas, HTC's One M9+ smartphone offers 3GB of RAM.
Battery
The HTC One M9+ is fuelled by a 2840mAh Li-Po battery. But the HTC One E9+ comes with a non-removable 2800mAh Li-Po battery.
Verdict
Taking the display size, operating system, RAM, and battery life into consideration, the One M9+ Plus seems to be of good value for the ones who wouldn't prefer an oversized device.
Reason: The screen size of HTC One M9+ is not very large. i.e. 5.2-inch display and runs on upgraded Android 5.0.2 Lollipop OS, which, at present, is just being rolled out for selected devices. One M9+ also offers a better RAM space, as compared to the One E9+. In terms of battery life, the One M9+, fuelled by 2840mAh Li-Po battery, is superior too.
But if you prefer a handset with a much larger display and are not considering to buy a tablet , you can go forward for the 5.5-inch E9+ phablet.
The One M9+ handset will be available in three colours- Gunmetal Gray, Silver Gold, Amber Gold. HTC One E9+ will be launched in colours like Meteor Gray, Classic Rose Gold, Gold Sepia.
The prices of the HTC One M9+ and HTC One E9+ haven’t been revealed yet.
