Nawaz Sharif stops release of Reham Khan’s objectionable pictures
Islamabad: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has asked leaders of his Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) to avoid propagating allegedly objectionable images of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan’s wife Reham Khan. “Some members of the PML-N wanted to embarrass Imran Khan. They had some objectionable pictures of Reham Khan and sought Nawaz Sharif’s approval to put them online,” said a PML-N leader. “The Prime Minister was angry and asked them to stop such negative tactics. He told the members to play positive,” said the leader. Ms Khan, a journalist, recently married Imran Khan and has hinted that she might join politics to support her husband. Sources said Mr Sharif expressed anger over the suggestion and told members not to take politics to the personal level.
