Mumbai: We have been waiting on the edge of our seats to watch 'Dil Dhadakne Do' trailer and it's finally here! The film which boasts of an incredible star cast- Anil Kapoor, Shefali Shah, Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar, Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma, has definitely lived up to our expectations. The hashtag 'DilDhadakneDoTrailer' has been trending since a couple of days, with fans eagerly waiting for the trailer. The team unveiled a string of impressive posters which feature the stylish Mehra family.
Anil Kapoor and Shefali Shah- The high profile couple has the world to think that they are happy, but underneath lies a troubled relationship. Also, the equation shared by siblings-Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra is hard to miss. Anil Kapoor who plays the role of a businessman in the film rocks the salt and pepper look.
The trailer starts off with Anil and Shefali asking Ranveer whether he is serious about getting married. As the trailer puts forth- Mehras want their son to get married and their daughter not to get divorced.
Ranveer ditches his hirsute look and opts for a clean shaven, suave avatar. He looks dapper in European labels and his character is a complete contrast to the roles he has performed in the past. The former lovers Anushka and Ranveer will be seen romancing each other onscreen. Ranveer plays the role interest of Anushka Sharma in the film, and their fantastic equation stands out in the trailer.
Priyanka Chopra who plays the role of Ranveer's sister is married to Rahul Bose. The trailer gives away a glimpse of her troubled married life. The crucial scenes define their relationship. Priyanka stuns in designer summer dresses and gowns that have been specially made by Arjun Bhasin.
Enter Farhan Akhtar, who once was Priyanka's 'best friend'. Their lives intertwine once again and there comes a turning point when they need to chose where they want to lead their relationship.
