Everyone on the sets was tensed, not knowing how it will pan out

A source tells us that Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan ganged up to pull a fast one on director Shoojit Sircar and the entire film unit on the sets of their soon-to-be-released Piku.
Recalling the incident, the source said, “Both Irrfan and Deepika were sitting and discussing an important sequence, when all of a sudden both actors started yelling at each other. Not knowing what to do, the entire crew along with director Shoojit, gathered around the actors and tried to reason with them. But that didn’t seem to work. Both Deepika and Irrfan stormed off and retreated into their respective vans, not to be seen for half an hour.
When they were finally called for the scene, everyone on the sets was tensed, not knowing how it will pan out. And seeing their worried faces the lead pair just burst out laughing. That’s when Shoojit and crew realised that it was a well-organised prank by Deepika and Irrfan.”
