Mr X’s vanishing act raises concern
Apart from Bang Bang, almost all Fox Star films have proven to be non-performers
Mr X hasn’t opened to great reviews or box office numbers and from the looks of it, the makers of the film were anticipating it. According to a reliable source, the producers, Fox Star Studios and Vishesh Films decided to chop a chunk of the film well after the post-production work was complete.
“They knocked off a good 10 to 12 minutes after the censor board had cleared the film. This indicates that there was internal uneasiness about the film’s fate. Also, the Bhatts were trying to project the film as a child-friendly one to change Emraan Hashmi’s image as a serial kisser, but that seems to not have worked either,” adds the source.
Emraan Hashmi is now getting trained for the biopic of Mohammad Azharuddin for which he starts shooting in a couple of months.
