Sony introduces Xperia Z4 with 20.7MP camera
Sony has finally unveiled its most-awaited flagship handset of 2015 - Sony Xperia Z4, with a high-resolution 20.7MP camera. The newly unveiled Sony Xperia Z4 sports a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) screen. Enclosed in a metal frame, the Sony Xperia Z4 is 6.99mm thin and weighs 144 grams.
Sony Xperia Z4 also powered by a 64-bit octa-core chipset and Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system, offers 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Users can also expand the storage of Sony Xperia Z4 up to 128GB via microSD card.
The 20.7MP primary camera of Sony Xperia Z4 has features like LED flash, 1/2.3-inch Exmor RS BSI sensor and is powered Bionz image processor. Additionally, its 5.1MP front-facing camera features an Exmor R BSI sensor. It is fuelled by a 2930mAh battery. Reports also state that IP8X and IP6X certification of Sony Xperia Z4 gives out a notification that the handset is dustproof and waterproof as well. On the connectivity front, Sony Xperia Z4 supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi with hotspot, 3G, 4G LTE, GPS/ A-GPS and Glonass.
Sony Xperia Z4 smartphone will be available in four colours - White, Black, Copper, Aqua Green for the Japanese market. Sony hasn’t made any official announcement regarding the India launch date yet. However, media reports state that the handset will likely be introduced in other countries in May.
