Maruti Suzuki to launch S-Cross SX4 in India
Mumbai: Maruti Suzuki showcased its third-generation compact car model - the S-Cross SX4, at the 2014 Delhi Motor Show and will be introduced for the Indian market later this year. The S-Cross SX4 measures 4.3-metres in length and offers a ground clearance of 170mm. Auto Portal reported that the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross SX4 car will arrive in petrol and diesel variants. The Maruti Suzuki S-Cross SX4 will be powered by a 1.6 litre DDiS engine, which is capable of producing 120PS and 320Nm of torque.
The rear seats can accommodate up to three people and also, since the rear seats are foldable, it helps in increasing the boot space. The petrol variant will either offer a 5-Speed manual gearbox or a 5-Speed automatic transmission, whereas, the diesel variant of the will feature a 6-Speed manual gearbox.

At present, Maruti Suzuki has not given any official announcement with regards to the price. However, media reports claim the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross SX4 to be priced anywhere between Rs 8 lakh to 14 lakh.
