Hyderabad: Monday, a working day, will be a nightmare for citizens with the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi organising its first show of strength after coming to power at the Parade Grounds to mark the party’s formation day.
TRS cadres have been instructed to mobilise 10 lakh people for the meet envisaged to be unprecedented in the capital’s history even surpassing the ‘Simhagarjana’ organised by the Telugu Desam Party in May 1994 before the general elections.
“We had earlier organised such massive meetings even in the city, but this is going to be the biggest one in the city’s history,” IT minister K.T. Rama Rao told Deccan Chronicle.
