N Srinivasan tapped phones, tracked e-mails of BCCI members?
Mumbai: Apart from discussing the future of Champions League Twenty20 and valuation of Chennai Super Kings (CSK), the first working committee meeting of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), under new boss Jagmohan Dalmiya, could invite trouble for former BCCI chief N Srinivasan.
According to reports, Srinivasan allegedly paid crores of the board’s money to a London-based private agency to spy on other BCCI members by tapping their phones and stalking e-mails.

The board is likely to start a fresh probe into the matter. Honorary Secretary Anurag Thakur is likely to head the mission which will investigate why members were tracked and how BCCI’s money could be spent for the purpose.
On the other hand, the Indian Premier League Governing Council wasn’t happy with the CSK owners valuing their team at Rs 5 lakh only.

As per rules, if 5 per cent of sale price is given to the board, BCCI will get only Rs 25,000. The CLT20 may be scrapped since it did not generate much profit neither gained popularity.
There is still no news about the appointment of the next Team India coach. Reports suggested that former India captain Sourav Ganguly's name was doing the rounds but there is no confirmation from the board's side.
