Juhi Chawla doesn't charge a penny from her make-up artiste turned producer

Juhi Chawla has been shooting for Chalk and Duster, a film produced by her make-up artiste, Subhash Singh. We hear that the actress has been taking keen interest in the film’s development. Even when she isn’t shooting, the actress is known to turn up on the sets, to look into other aspects of the film.

Says a source close to Juhi, “Subhash has been doing Juhi’s make-up for the past 18 years now and the two share a very strong rapport. Many years ago, Subhash had told Juhi that if he were to produce a film some day, he’d cast Juhi in it. He finally kept his word. As a goodwill gesture towards someone she’s worked for so long with, Juhi didn’t charge Subhash a single penny.
