Raju Hirani and Vidhu Chopra host book launch for a close friend
Mumbai: India’s one of the finest screenwriter’s daughter took baby steps to compile the journey of becoming a full-fledged writer. Abhijat Joshi’s daughter Anushka Joshi never thought that her tiny scribbling could turn into something so beautiful and would be launched at an even greater platform. Launching her book at a bookstore in Fort, Mumbai, the father-daughter duo seems to have a gala time with their industry friends.
Also present at the event were ace director and producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Raj Kumar Hirani and Swanand Kirkire. During the launch, R. Madhavan and Sharman Joshi made a special entry without stealing the limelight from the 18-year-old young writer.
The book titled ‘If Time Thinks’ is a compilation of short poems written by Anushka on several issues, some grave while some are on a lighter note. Rajkumar Hirani says, “I remember I first read these poems six years ago and told Abhijat that these are the ones I love from your collection. He then told me that those poems are written by Anushka.”
Raj Kumar Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra hosted the delightful event that saw the presence of many close members from their circle. Interestingly, one of the scenes from Raju’s famous film ‘pk’ was shot in the same bookstore with Anushka Sharma.
