Families have come together to live in make-shift houses as trucks carrying supplies make their way to the affected districts to distribute food and water to the survivors.
The death toll that has crossed 5,000 , shows no sign of stopping as the army and foreign NGO’s join in to help recover the dead.
While some volunteer to help search for missing people buried under piles of brick and mud, other scavenge around looking for reusable items from the broken houses.
After the dust settled, the photographer set out to document the destruction of monuments, temples and homes and the relief efforts being carried out in the city.
