Yu, Micromax-backed company, has finally revealed the launch date of its next Cyanogen OS handset – Yuphoria via Twitter.
Yu teased out an image on Twitter, hinting at the arrival of the Yuphoria handset on May 12, 2015.

— YU (@YUplaygod) May 1, 2015Yu claimed that the name ‘Yuphoria’ (earlier known as Project Caesar), was chosen through crowd-sourced smartphone-naming campaign #YUNameIt. The upcoming Yuphoria will sport a 5-inch display, offer 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage capacity. The Cyanogen OS handset may feature 13MP or 16MP camera.
Latest reports state that Yuphoria may fall under the budget phone category i.e. likely to be priced below Rs 10,000.
