Making the most of summer break, Anam picks a ‘hobby’

What better way to kick-start an alternate career than style one of the most photographed faces in the city, Sania Mirza? The tennis champ’s little sister, Anam, has always maintained that she wanted to become a journalist. But putting her holidays to good use, Anam, a student of St Francis College, is trying her hand at something new — styling.
It started with Sania Mirza’s appearance at Falaknuma Palace, where she was seen wearing an ensemble by designer Anushree Reddy. “That was the first time I styled Sania,” says Anam, adding, “I am just trying my hand at something new with summer break ahead of me.”
Sania does seem to be impressed with her sister’s work, as she has been spotted in two more outfits styled by Anam — The Anupam Kher Show and a chat show with Ayaz Menon recently. “I was very nervous and it took me a while and a lot of running around to get in touch with the designers to get the right outfits from Mumbai. But since I passed the trial after the Falaknuma event, my sister trusts my work,” she says.
