However, Apple probably foresaw the event, as it already has a detailed Apple Watch support page. The support page acknowledges that a small number of users may experience reactions to certain materials used in the making of the Watch. The page also contains specifications for Apple Watch users, about potential skin sensitivities caused by the Watch, getting a good fit, and proper care and cleaning.

Therefore, according to Apple, there can be two potential reasons for getting a skin irritation from the Watch. One, it could be allergies from Nickel or Methacrylates (materials used on the Watch), it could be due to environmental factors, or extended exposure to irritants like soap or sweat. The second reason can be due to wearing the Watch too tight or too loose. It says, an overly tight bank can cause skin irritation. And if a band is too loose, its constant rubbing against the skin can cause rashes as well.

Apple also suggests users to clean their skin and Watch time-to-time, especially after workouts or exposure to liquids such as sweat, soap, sunscreen, and lotions that can cause skin irritations.
