Telangana warns it’ll shift cases to Maharashtra, Karnataka if HC is not bifurcated

'We don’t expect justice here. It’s an Andhra-dominated HC'

Hyderabad: The Telangana government on Friday took a tough stand over the delay in bifurcation of the High Court, informing Union law minister Sadananda Gowda that it had lost faith in the “Andhra dominated” combined Judicature of Hyderabad and demanded the immediate division of the High Court.

It also said that the government would have no option but to request the Centre to shift cases to Maharashtra and Karnataka if the bifurcation of the HC was further delayed.

“We don’t expect justice here. It’s an Andhra-dominated HC. Centre should take steps and bifurcate the HC in 10 to 15 days,” TRS general secretary K. Kesava Rao, said in Delhi after meeting Mr Gowda.
