Look who’s family!

Kavita Ghai, who plays the character of Piyali Khanna in Manmarzian, we hear, is related to Kanika Maheshwari from Diya Aur Baati Hum. They are devrani and jethani (co-sisters) in real life. Both ladies have shifted to Mumbai from Delhi where their husbands reside, to pursue a career in acting. When asked if she takes advice from Kanika, Kavita said, “It was very random and sudden, my decision to act in Manmarzian. Hence, I did not have the time to take advice or acting tips from Kanika as she too was busy with her pregnancy and her show. But now that we both are in Mumbai, I plan to just pick up the phone when I need help.”
