Swara Bhaskar is returning to her popular role as the straightforward and sensible Bihari lass Payal in the Tanu Weds Manu sequel. In Tanu Weds Manu Returns, Swara’s character Payal will be shown as a new mother, and the actress had to enact her sequences with a baby in her arms. She spent a considerable amount of time learning how to handle infants especially as she was a little nervous about it.
Swara says, “I was initially very scared about holding someone else’s baby, but I had a whale of time handling the baby on the sets of Tanu Weds Manu Returns. He is the happiest little bundle of joy I’ve ever seen.” “I used to carry him about as much as I could without making his mom insecure and I must say it is quite a workout for the arms!” she added.
