Music director Ghibran, who is all set to join hands with Kamal Haasan for the fourth time in a row, is now on a roll. The young artiste is now attending the Cannes Film Festival, where one of the short films he is associated with, will be screened. Interestingly, the intriguing 30-minute film titled Swayer Productions, does not have Ghibran as a music director. He was the executive producer of the film which was shot a couple of months ago in the city.
A source close to him says, “Ghibran left to Cannes on Friday and will be back on May 25. He has been a close friend of Rathindran R Prasad, the director of the short film since many years, and thus collaborated with him. Though Ghibran was keen to do music for it, there wasn’t a scope for the same, and hence he decided to become the executive producer for Swayer Productions. He worked for it during the final stages of Uttama Villain.”
The premiere screening of Swayer Productions will be held in a few days, and the makers have planned for its screening in Chennai later.
