Regardless of how high-quality they were, Apple iPhones have often been criticized for not upgrading the cameras from the 8MP primary shooters. However, a report from GSMArea confirms that, the next iPhone (which would presumably be called the iPhone 6S) will sport a high-end 12MP sensor. Though the individual pixel size will be smaller, the report added.
Even though Apple sports an 8MP camera in its present and older iPhones till iPhone 4s, due to its constant camera improvements, they have always been touted for their camera quality. And if Apple upgrades it to 12MP, iPhones popularity will certainly shoot higher skies.
